Hello there human people! My name is Kala, and it sounds like "Kayla." Folks ask me "Why the long face?" And I always say, "Because if I look like this all the time, I get more treats!" ;) You see, friends, that's how smart I am! Then some smart alecks will ask me "Why the long tail?" And I say, "Hey! It makes me special!" Honestly, my tail makes my Boxer wiggles even more special when I wag it! My foster Mum loves to put sweaters and shirts on me, but usually she just ends up laughing because I won't stop wiggling and she can't even get it over my long face! That's how I work my magic on the humans, you see: I wiggle my furry body and I show you how happy you make me, and soon you cannot resist taking me into your home and your heart.
I love ALL dogs, and I love to box with my foster furbrother! I also have a fursister whom I play with daily!! We play football without the ball, because I haven't quite mastered toys. You see, where I came from (I don't like to talk about it, so the rescue people don't know much), I didn't have any toys. I think I'm going to like them though, if they're anything like these cool peanut butter Nylabones my foster humans give me! You'd think that not having toys would mean that when I do get them I don't share, but that's not true. I share my bones and I don't mind when my foster furbrother eats out of my bowl! I told you I was a good dog. What? I didn't? Well, I'm telling you now. I am a good dog! While I am very petite, I've gained a whole ten pounds since I've been with my foster humans, and I'm really coming into my gorgeous Boxer figure. Let's see....what else can I tell you? Oh! I potty outside! I learned right away that when my fursiblings stand by the back door, my humans open the door to let us go potty outside! I'm also crate trained, but I would so much rather lie next to you, or on a nice soft bed beside yours. My FAVORITE thing to do, is SNUGGLE!! If you to talk softly to me while scratching my head, I fall right to sleep and dream that I am in my furever home, with humans who love me and will never let me go. Are you those humans?
