My name is Cooper and I'm a 2 year old, male Boxer.  I am a very friendly guy.  I love all people and most other dogs.  The family that was supposed to love me and keep me safe moved away and did not take me.  Instead, they left me tied to a tree.  I was so scared and alone!  The neighbors noticed that I was there and started to bring me food and water.  Then, they called Boxer Rescue. 

Please tell me there is a bright and happy future for me out there with one of you reading my story?  All I want is to have a family to love and who will love me back; a place where I can find comfort and safety.  It is too hot and frightening to be left alone in the smothering heat and in the dark.  Being tied up I never knew if another dog or even an unkind person would come to hurt me.

Thankfully, because of someone who called HBR, I have found myself with people who will help.  They have taken me to a nice warm place and I am getting lots of food, water, and medical care.  I am an energetic, busy bee.  I am potty trained and crate trained.  I have gained weight and my coat is looking very nice and shiny.
