NORA here and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Boxer girl.  I was LOST in the southern part of Houston when some very nice people found me.  They took me into their nice and cool house and looked for my owners.  However, no one responded.  They then worked with Boxer Rescue and here I am up for adoption.

I am a very sweet girl.  I get along with other dogs as there are schnauzers and a pug here and we all get along fine.  I have not met a cat, so not sure  how I would do with those guys.  I like to give hugs, kisses and pretent like I'm a lap dog even though I weigh in at 50 pounds. I am potty trained and I do like to go on regular walks outside, but in this heat, I'm very happy to get back inside!!

As a Boxer, I'm an intelligent, high-energy, playful dog that likes to stay busy. I love to be in the company of my people and my other dog friends.  As a Boxer, I have a high need for companionship and exercise. Boxers are ideal for people who want a canine companion with them most of the time or for larger busy families with homes that are often occupied by someone. They can do well on a country estate or in a city apartment as long as they have the opportunity to romp and expel energy. If you live in an urban area, regular walks are necessary.

Remember, that we Boxers are intolerant of hot weather, and care must be taken to prevent us from getting overheated in this Texas Summer.

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
