Hello All - I am Higley and I am between 2-3 years old.  I am a super loving brindle boxer looking for my furever family. I was on the streets until someone contacted the HBR folks, and I am sure glad they did. I am so happy to have food and a warm bed.

Luckily, I am heartworm negative, but heard I am getting over a bad case of hookworms that caused me to be anemic. I am in love my 2 boxer foster sisters. One of them let's me snuggle with her to keep warm, and the other one is teaching me how to play with toys. My foster mom is taking good care of me and I am so appreciative. I try to let her know by giving lots of snuggles and licky kisses.

My favorite things are snacks and lying by the window for neighborhood watch. I do not mind going into the crate, if there are snacks involved. I am house trained and open to learning new tricks. I have not been on many car rides so they make me a little nervous right now, but I learn fast and will be your travel mate soon. I spend most of my day taking naps and following around my foster mom. I am interested in anything that she is doing. I have a human foster sister that is 12 and she lets me take naps in her room. She is pretty cool. I have not been around smaller humans, but I think they would be just as great. I sure hope someone reaches out to find about me because I am ready to meet my new family and settle in to my new life. If you have any questions about me then reach out to my friends at HBR. Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
