AUSTIN needs a caretaker or foster!

Hi everyone! My name is Austin and I'm a 1 1/2 year old, male Boxer. I hear that Austin is a very cool, happening, kinda place and I'm a cool, happening kinda guy! I am a strong, confident type of dog. Yet, very handsome if I do say so myself, in that my brindle coat just shines!
As you can see my original owner had a "crop job" done to give me classic boxer ears. Then they obviously flunked out on after care. So, one ear stands, and well, the other one - doesn't. I think it creates a very unique look that makes me stand out, like the special guy I am!
I am well mannered and even lay down while my leash is clipped onto my collar. Then I walk calmly without pulling or acting out. Riding in the car is taken completely in stride! I may look out the windows a bit then settle right down for a nap. I am potty trained, crate trained, and generally a GREAT GUY!
Playing fetch out in the yard is my idea of a day well spent! I love running around, playing with other dogs, and my peeps. Investigating my surroundings is a hobby of mine. I like to check out every nook and cranny, not destructively, only because I am a curious guy! However, I have been known to leave my (open) crate, clear a baby gate, and traipse up a steep flight of wood stairs all without disturbing my usually alert foster Dad. Then, when he saw me on the stairs and said, "What are you doing?", I calmly reversed my route and was waiting in my crate by the time he got there! Now, is that stealth mode, or what?!!

Transport Fee
Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.

There is a $27.00 Home Visit Fee which is non-refundable. (Note: This fee is non-refundable and does not apply to the adoption fee.) This policy is in effect for reasons we will be glad to discuss at the time of your interview.
